President’s Dissertation Year Fellowship
September 2021-May 2022
The President’s Dissertation Year (PDY) Fellowship program is intended for students in their final year of graduate school who are planning to pursue teaching and research appointments soon after the end of their dissertation fellowship year. This award is intended to assist outstanding graduate students who will contribute to the diversity of the campus community with the completion of their dissertation. This award should also enhance their qualifications as candidates for university faculty teaching and research appointments.
William R. Shadish Award for Leadership and Service
March 2021
This award is intended to recognize graduate students who uphold Professor Shadish's exemplary model in leadership and service. Applicants are assessed based on their leadership and service activities in the psychological sciences program, on campus, and/or in the scientific field as a whole.
GDACD Fellowship, UCM
2020-2021
This fellowship is awarded to students that have been selected to serve on the Graduate Dean's Advisory Council on Diversity. The GDACD is dedicated to enhancing and strengthening a culture of open inquiry, pluralism, mutual respect, and engagement among — and for — UC Merced graduate students through the work of the council itself and through the active advisement of the Dean.
USAP Research Award, UCM

This research award is granted to graduate students in support of continuing students' research and professional development as well as contribute towards students' cost of living during the summer so they can focus on advancing towards their program milestones.

McNair Scholar, UNH

The McNair Scholars Program is a federal TRIO program funded at 151Â institutions across the United States and Puerto Rico by the U.S. Department of Education. It is designed to prepare undergraduate students for doctoral studies through involvement in research and other scholarly activities.
Movers and Shakers Leadership Award, UNH

The Movers & Shakers Award Program was an award initative coordinated by the Memorial Union & Student Activities from the 1996 to 2015. The award recognized students who used a collaborative style of leadership. Collaborative leaders understand the importance of relationship-building and value inclusiveness.
J. Gregg Sanborn Scholarship, UNH

Recognizes student(s) who have made contributions to the enrichment of the campus community and embody the spirit and work of J. Gregg Sanborn. The intent of the scholarship is to encourage students to continue their involvement with the University of New Hampshire after graduation as alumni through service and/or philanthropy.
